High school is a very tough place full of self-conscious teenagers and embarrassing moments. Being a teen myself, I know that there are many questions high schoolers have about growing up, dating, body image and more. So this year, I am going to have my own column called "Dear Shane" and basically the main purpose is to give advice to students that need it while remaining completely anonymous. (anonymous meaning no one will know you asked that question). I will then pick two questions to answer and those two will be posted up in the school newspaper; this can also help other students that may have the same questions. Please don't be afraid to ask me anything, and know that you do not have to sign your name on anything you send me, and if you accidentally do, I won't reveal your identity to anybody unless you specifically tell me to. Your questions can include things about: mean girls or bullies in general, balancing school and your social life, peer pressure and a lot more.
