sinking in

At the beginning of the year, walking in school, i still felt that i was a mere sophomore.  The word "Junior" had not sunk in yet.  I was fresh-minded right after summer, totally relaxed and excited for the new year.  The First three days weren't that bad; a couple of reading assignments and some writing were assigned and everyone pretty much breezed through it. A couple more days of school passed by and i still didn't feel like i was a junior in high school. not until today that is. After a hard-core work out for two hours of volleyball, i had to drive home and start on my homework.  I realized that i had left my book at school for AP english and i needed to write a precis on it.  I also had to finish reading and answering questions for Ancient World History, write this blog, study for chemistry, do some art when all i wanted to do was lay back and sleep like i did for two months straight during summer.  Today hit me like a load of bricks.
 I'm a Junior now.
I'll have more school work, more pressure, and will become busier and busier everyday.  I realize that I must adjust myself accordingly and i will have to sacrifice a lot of free time if I want to make it through this year.

If being a Junior is hard, then i cant wait to be a senior.
